ChatGPT · Custom connection

Add the public tools.

In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login → Developer mode. Availability depends on your account and workspace policy.
Open Plugins, select +, and add an MCP connection named Techy Surgeon Policy Radar using this server URL.

For this public beta, select No authentication if prompted, then create the connection and review its ten tools.
Start a new chat, enable the connection from the tools menu (or select it with @ in Work), and try a question below.

If Developer mode is unavailable, use the browser tools or ask your workspace admin about custom connections. This setup does not require a Techy Surgeon password or a shared API key.

Already installed the private plugin?

Use your existing installation. Open a new conversation and select Techy Surgeon Policy Radar. If a developer-mode connection still shows the old tools or interface, open it in Plugins, select Refresh, then test in a new chat. Your personal private plugin link does not give other accounts access.

Sharing with a team

Workspace admins can publish an eligible local plugin to selected roles inside their own workspace. That does not make it public or give people outside the workspace access. Other testers can create their own custom connection using the steps above where their account allows it.

Public-directory discovery requires developer verification, submission review and publication. We will update the main page when that installation path is available.
